3.0 out of 5 stars Fun toy for a 6 yr old --- but price too high for what you get
I bought this stage for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. I am sure she would give this toy 5 stars. She has a lot of fun playing with it and loves Hannah Montana. I am just wondering how long her interest will last. The stage only plays two songs...and each song is only about 15 seconds long. I wanted to write this review because I thought the description is lacking and when we received it I was surprised by what all it does!My daughter is a die hard Hannah fan and when I saw this was coming out I knew I had to get it.She plays with it all the time.First there is a little assembly required but it only took me a few minutes to figure it out.At the back of the stage there is an attatched doll stand with clamps at the waist and legs to hold hannah on the stage and there is a knob at the front to move her from behind stage to the front and you can move it once she is to the front to make it look like she is dancing. One of the coolest things is when you first have her back stage the speakers sound off as fans chanting "Hannah,Hannah!" and there are doors so when you pull the knob/rod she comes through the door and all the fans start cheering, how cool is that? Then one of either 2 of her songs start playing,Best of both worlds and Who said. These songs aren't complete but there is a port so you can hook up an mp3 player if you want,I have not tried this because my daughter dosen't have one...Don't expect stero quality sound but it is audible and clear enough to understand everything. There are also lights around the floor of the stage that light up.The stage doors are hindged so the doll can push right through but you will have to push them back into place.I couldn't remember the accessories that came with the stage because we have had it for over a month but my duaghter said it came with a doll size backstage pass, guitar, microphone and 2 roses. As for the quality it is pretty good. One time so far one of the stage doors came off but I easilly popped it back on and most of the stage is pretty solid. It went beyond my expectaitons for what I thought we would get considering it is a celebrity toy but we are very happy with this toy!

I bought this stage for my 6 year old daughter's birthday. I am sure she would give this toy 5 stars. She has a lot of fun playing with it and loves Hannah Montana. I am just wondering how long her interest will last. The stage only plays two songs...and each song is only about 15 seconds long. If you own an MP3 or iPod, I guess it would solve this problem--there is a connection for these.
The stage has a doll stand that holds a regular sized barbie doll or Hannah Montana doll and a metal rod pull is used to make her come through the stage doors and move back and forth. That's about it. The box says "5 exciting light shows"...I can't really tell the difference between them. I would have given this toy a higher rating if it wasn't for the hefty price of $60. Now that I see it out of the box, I can't understand why they priced this toy so high. In my opinion, it is definitely not worth $60.

This made my daughters Christmas !! She especially loved that you could plug your mp3 or cd player into it and play your own music. It will hold a Hannah doll as well as any Barbie sized doll. Assembly was easy.
For the sale price, it was a good deal.

My daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. She plugs her Disney mix stick into it that is loaded with Hannah Montana songs and listens for hours. There is a switch at the bottom to turn the thing off, be sure and do so or it will run through batteries fast. The sound is fine, not too loud or distorted in my opinion. Make sure and snap the top of the stage down all the way (with some force) or it will fall apart when your child plays with it, the other thing is our's stopped working about 10 days into using it. It was a simple battery connection problem-just bend the metal pieces out a bit on the positive battery post side and it was fixed.

Picked this up at a discounted rate knowing that the batteries were likely dead (which they were), but having now put new batteries in the light show and music don't work ... which would seem to be a broken toy. Could take it back, but my daughter seems to enjoy it nonetheless. Oh well ...

1.0 out of 5 stars In the end..not worth it, September 7, 2009
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars

I bought this at toys r us for my 7 year old. It worked for one entire day, and then this morning, nothing. No lights, no music, multiple new battery changes haven't changed it. Its like it completely died. But it was fun while it lasted. She enjoyed the music, and the mp3 player hook up made it even better. But now that's all gone. After reading all the reviews my problems with it seem the same, doesn't work, and the doors the doll comes through pop off constantly. You can't move it or have the doll go through them more than once of they'll come right off. Unfortunately I can't find any troubleshooting information or a person/business to contact about repair. So don't waste your money on this one. Use the box they ship it to you in to make a stage that'll last longer.

1.0 out of 5 stars piece of junk, June 10, 2009

My mother in law gave this to my 7 year old for Christmas. This is the worst piece of Chinese plastic junk I have ever seen. It was very hard to put together and when we did finally get it assembled, we tried to hook up our MP3 to sign along, and the sounds blew out the first time. The light things never worked and my daughter played with it for all of five minutes. I wouldn't even bother, even if it was on sale for $5.

Bought this for Christmas for my 8 year old and she loves it! Comes with everything you need to put the Hannah Montana dolls up on stage for your own concert. Has working stage lights that flash on and off, as well as playing a couple of Hannah Montana songs through a speaker located in the bottom of the stage. The cool part is that it includes a connection cable that can be plugged into the stage on one end and into your own MP3 player or CD player on the other end so that you can use your own music. Pretty neat! The stage was easy to put together and the instructions are actually understandable. I think it took me longer to untie all the holddown wires than it did to build it. All in all I would say this is a great toy for the Hannah Montana fan in the family.

I bought this for my 6 year old niece who is a Hannah Montana fanatic! She loves her stage and the ability to bring Hannah out using the sliding bar. It got a bit monotonous when her 3 year old sister started playing with the sliding bar (i'm sure you can imagine how many times Hannah was pushed back and forth), but it held up! I did not like that this stage did not come with a size appropriate doll to come through the stage doors. I bought a separate dolls which was a little too big. Other than that, if your little ones love Hannah Montana, I am sure they would love their stage (also has MP3 capability too - which we did not try yet).

My 3 and 8 year olds love this toy. They got the Hannah Montana and Lola dolls in addition to this for Christmas. It's great. Very durable, and easy to assemble.
