The first time I heard this album, I was in a little record shop and they just happened to be playing Hannibalism. From the moment I heard it, I was hooked... and you will be too! The truest of R&B is captured perfectly on this album, and it's been played countless numbers of times on my stereo, and continues to be til this day. Shaw, aka The Mighty Hannibal, has a caramel smooth voice, which goes together so well with the undeniable rhythm in every one of his songs. "Hymn no.5", "Try to make it through", and "We're gonna make it", are some of the deep, slow tunes that just blow my mind every time I hear them. "Fishin Pole," "The truth shall set you free," "The right to love you" and "I just want some love", are powerful pieces that keep you completely engaged in the entire album. Just one warning: Be prepared to get up and dance around! NOW GO, LISTEN!

Just saw the man play in Atlanta last week. He is still incredible. Made me dig out this CD and I am astonished! He should have been a household name. Shell out and get this CD.
