This map is great. In Hanoi - everything costs $$ when you go to the "tourist" office - The maps are not free and they are trying to sell you a tour. I bought this in US before going. This map provides much more detail than the maps they give you at the hotel. Other features that were great include laminated for the humid weather and thus easy to bend without shredding the thing. Lastly, a sleeve of the map provides "must have" survival skills for the 1st day you are there - including a fair price for minbus/taxi to hotel from airport, money exchange info, telecommunitcation info, tipping info and opening times info. A must have esp if you are adverse to the hard sells from tourist traps in Hanoi.

This is the third Insight map I have purchased. The first is a Hong Kong guide I used while I lived there several months. Despite being folded and abused, the Insight map held up like no other.
The laminated Insight maps are durable and readable. You can't go wrong! |
