Can't Stop,
By Phillip Gladden (New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hans Ulrich Obrist: dontstopdontstopdontstopdontstop (Hardcover)
This first collection of essays from renowned curator and critic Hans Ulrich Obrist is essential in any contemporary thinker's library. Alongside his collected interviews rleased a few years back, it is the cornerstone of one of today's most original thinkers on contemporary art. Sternberg (formerly Lukas and Sternberg) published this volume, and if you are familiar with their publications they just keep getting better, consistently releasing theoretical works and exhibition catalogs from the cutting edge. If you are not familiar with Sternberg (or Lukas & Sternberg), check out what they are up to.

Hans' Thoughts,

This review is from: Hans Ulrich Obrist: dontstopdontstopdontstopdontstop (Hardcover)
Not everything written here comer from the hiper-curator's pen, but it certainly makes you understand how he thinks. This is a non-linear book, a peek in his mind's capability of multithreading. I strongly recommend a quick research for his videos, so you can see how fast he thinks: faster than human speech, several lines of thought at a time.
