Most people will never get the chance to meet the celebrities they most admire. Fans of teen rock sensation Hanson can, however, get the next best thing with the 1997 release of Tulsa, Tokyo & the Middle of Nowhere. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac take you along behind the scenes on their world tour and let you see their own personalities through interviews and action clips. While there are several musical selections, this is not a concert video.

One standout musical segment is an a capella sound check in the Sydney, Australia, Opera House where they sing "MMMBop." Elsewhere, the guys tell the story of how they wrote "MMMBop," followed by clips from the making of, and finally the music video for the song. Also included is a re-edited version of their video for "Where's the Love." The program runs 82 minutes and concludes with live performances of "Where's the Love," "A Minute Without You," and "MMMBop" from their performance at the Beacon Theatre in New York. --Larry Clark

From the Back Cover

"You want to see something, do ya?" So asks Zac Hanson in the video. Well, if you want to see Hanson across the planet, everywhere from Tulsa to Tokyo and back, you have the right tape in your hand. You will see and hear Ike, Taylor and Zac performing live, dealing with press and radio, and, maybe, most important, having a ton of fun. Everything is documented just for you in 82 minutes of assorted excitement.

Here's are partial list of the contents: Hanson performing their "Middle of Nowhere" hits in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Europe and Asia...Hanson having fun in never-before-seen home videos (at the amazing Segworld in London, on hear-stopping rides flying through the air)...Hanson up close and personal in the recording studio...in a brand new edit of their video "Where's the Love" as well as in the chart-topping "MMMBop" clip...Hanson hanging with Cindy Crawford...Ike, Taylor and Zac chatting about their experiences together...and the guys performing their hits at the Beacon Theatre in New York especially for you.

All this gives you a customized picture of what life's been like fore the three of them since they exploded into the world music scene. It's a non-stop ride which will leave you a little breathless...very exhilarated...and you'll never know what's coming next...until you play it again...and again...and again.

This is a really good, movie/ documentary. It shows concerts, and what they do on their spare time. The are serious and wacky. They go to places like L.A., NY, Australia, Jakarta, France and many more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Omigosh, Sears is having a sale!, November 6, 2004
This video is flat-out awesome. Those Hanson boys do some crazy things! From the footage of touring around the world ("in Frahnce, haha!"), to clips of them interacting as a family ("We love each other!")it is so much fun to watch. Also, the two music videos (MMMbop and Where's the Love) are excellent. You will not be disappointed with TTAMON.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funniest movie ever!, December 20, 1999
By Riversoda9@aol.com (nebraska, USA) - See all my reviews
This is the funniest movie you will ever see! You will be hysterical with laughter. Tears will be rolling down your cheeks! Not only is this movie hilarious (which it is), it has great concert footage and some other really neato stuff. Like a look at their garage that has pictures they drew all over it. It's a really good movie, really, really, really funny, and every Hanson fan should see it!
