5.0 out of 5 stars Powerhouse!, February 6, 2001

This review is from: Hapkido, Volume 2 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
That's how I would describe this video in just one word. Hapkido Vol 2 shows the whole power, yet the simplicity and elegance of movements that make Hapkido one of the most complete self-defence system. The techniques are shown in full-speed and frame-by-frame, with close-up shots to help viewers to see and understand each technique. After practising Tae Kwon Do (both WTF and ITF) for over 19 years, I now fully understand why my master always encorraged me to learn Hapkido. This video is a must for any advanced Hapkido students - however, if you have never done Hapkido before or if you're a totally beginner, this video would give you an insight into its' techniques and awareness of its power, but don't expect to become an expert just by watching it. Remember, practicing on the Dojo makes it better - this video will complement your knowledge!

4.0 out of 5 stars joint tapes - 1 & 2, September 21, 2001

This review is from: Hapkido, Volume 2 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Hapkido volume 2 is a good production on hapkido techniques.
Good quality video, with Close up views and different angles unable viewers to understand and learn some basic to advanced movements.Just don't expect too much information. For the price, one would like to see more techniques, and more video time. It's a good tape but short, and could be easily joined with hapkido volume 1... but it's still worth it. The demonstration team is excellent (couldn't be better in fact) and leaves no doubts on how to execute the techniques.
