Most teenage girls do not think that they could be or would be raped. That is exactly what Nancy thought, until it happened to Nancy. One night Nancy was at a concert, tripped and had an asthma attack. That's when the wonderful and charming Collin came along and saved her, or so she thought. The night came when she could be alone with Collin in her house. That night, Collin got her drunk and forced Nancy in her mother's bed. Although Nancy was screaming and crying, no one was there to help her and Nancy was raped. About three months after Nancy was raped, she was infected with the HIV-AIDS virus. Nancy was a very brave and special teenager who battles her way throught the HIV-AIDS virus with a weekened immune system. The one thing that is noticed in the book is Nancy's emotions. In her diary she tells about all of her feelings and her point of view on many subjects. It Happened To Nancy is a book that can change people's decisions on how they act as a teenager or a young adult. This book helps you to realize how serious rape is. Rape can not only hurt or change a person's life, but it can kill someone as well. This book is very emotional and touching, and would be enjoyed by someone who like to read about true stories on peoples' lives.

It Happened to Nancy was a great book! I would recomend everyone to read this book. It has taught me a lot of information that I could use when I get older. I also liked this book, because it is from a teens point of view and I am a teen that could relate to her. She sounds like she has been through a lot of struggles and I understand what she was going through. I mean, the stuff that happened to Nancy, has never happened to me, but I can imagine what she was going through in her rough times. I think everyone should take time out and read this book.

A little girl who was won a blind date with a man. She asked him to come over.HE came alright and left her with a life treating disesses HIV! Would you like to invite him to your house someday.I don't think so.

my review about this book was it was a sad story and it is a great book also. It has a very useful moral threw out the story.Ilove the very useful paragrahs how they were very detailed word by word. The realistic thoughts were very useful to understand the book. i THINK IT WAS SAD WHEN everyone new she had aids. Collin was a very stupid man he could have done somthing better with his life. He should not prey on girls. I think she shouldn't have gone with collin after the concert she should have stayed at the theature and not move. I would recomend this book to aperson who doesnt care and thinks everybody is clean and safe because the moral is that "dont think it is always your fault" Ilove how the author wrote so distinc and clear. Thats what I think about this book.

My book is called It Happened To Nancy. This book is about a teenager that got date raped and gets diagnosed with aids. I thought that this book was a good survival story because Nancy tries to survive with aids. This is why I give my book 5 stars. This book is a true story. I think that this book is a good example of a person's life.

I really like this book, I do think this one is true and its really sad, I liked GO ASK ALICE a little better although.

I have to say, parents be sure to watch what your children read! a young girl in my family (14) read this book and became so into it that she actually thought it happened to her! by her own brother! and due to this she actually filed a police report and put him in jail for a month and probation for two years! and he also has to attend sex offender classes for two months after this was all over she admitted she lied about it because she wanted attention and she got the idea from this book! so always monitor your chldrens reading material
