I'd heard Wil read one story from this book at a convention. That one story was so full of joy and reminded me so much of what it was like to be a kid that I had to pick up his book. Everything he writes is so full of life and energy and happiness, even in the sad parts. REAL life. It's an absolute joy to read. I had to read everything else of his, too. I rarely read anything more than once, but I keep coming back to it. If you can get your hands on a copy, DO IT! I know it's hard, but if there aren't any in your price range, try asking your library to have a copy shipped. It's worth it.

This book was funyn and touching. Wil is a wonderful and imaginative writer. I hope there are more books to come.

Love it, good read, wish I could add more to what has already been said so well by others. I didn't think I would read a book like this(e.g. memoirs of stars)but having been a re-newed STTNG fan I came across what former stars where doing and it lead me to this one by Wheaton. Again, this is a good read a time capsule of a certain generation, one that spawned a lot of creative people of the tech age.

I really enjoyed the stories in this book, they could've been taken from my own childhood. The only problem I have is that I was able to read the whole book in about two hours. I would've liked to have more quantity for $20.
