A Christmas present for my boyfriend, a native Chicagoan who loves Polish sausage, polka, and driving through his nearby Polish neighborhoods, we watched this together, and were both delighted and dumbfounded with the mix of odd characters highlighted here. Happiness walks a fine line between documentary and mockumentary, where it's impossible to tell if the producers meant for the film to be as funny as it is, resulting in a flick that would be enjoyable to view whatever your mood. I look forward to watching it again (soon) and maybe even taking a road trip to Pulaski, WI. Ranks up there with Cane Toads as an all time favorite documentary.

A seriously written documenty of polka, but so serious its hilarious to watch with friends that understand the polka culture. The best part is the hot sex.

You can't listen to or watch folks polka without smiling. If you're not able to go to Polish festivals, Polish bars or Dyngus Day celebrations, this is your best substitute ... all those wonderfully happy and colorful characters have been captured and you can view them whenever you need a smile.

An extraordinary experience. While playing the film festival circuit, this film was known to incite buts of spontaneous dancing in the aisles. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time I was watching this film - It will cure your ills.
