About the Author

Blair is a physician assistant specializing in preventative medicine and the holistic treatment of chronic disease from a wellness perspective. He has practiced holistic medicine, consisting of classical homeopathy, ayurveda, nutrition, and craniosacral therapy, for over twenty-five years.Blair is the creator and spiritual director of the Alive and Healthy Foundation in Madison, Wisconsin and the co-founder of the Blue Sky Educational Foundation, providing holistic training and therapies in three major cities in Wisconsin.

A graduate of both the National Center for Homeopathy and the International Foundation for Homeopathy, Blair is the co-author of Homeopathic Remedies for Health Professionals and Laypeople. A graduate of Indiana University and the Physician Assistant Program at Lake Erie College and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, he has also studied in Europe, Greece, and India.

His training in ayurveda and natural medicines continues in the Himalayan region of Uttar Pradesh and with the Himalayan Institute in the United States. Blair completed his training in osteopathic manipulation at Michigan State University. An enthusiastic teacher, Blair lectures nationally and abroad.

Blair has taken the concept of happiness to a practical level. This is a how-to-be-happy book filled with wonderful strategies and great stories of his search for happiness. I could completely relate to his struggles and conflicts - and learned from his unique solutions and refreshing perspective. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a complete guide to self-improvement, including techniques and exercises that can be immediately applied and experienced.
