Just what I needed to reconnect with my passion for writing. The exercises were especially helpful for discovering how creativity can bring happiness, and I am happiest when I am creating!

Happiness Rehab is a delightful and helpful short guide to being more creative. This book is excellent for anyone that wants to be more aware of life's surroundings and wants to get back to their youthful, creative self. You see all of those 150-200 page books about Psychology and how the brain works.... many of which make the same case as this one and try to explain to you how your thought life and such are connected to your overall happiness and creativity. Well this book has hit the nail on the head in less time and in easy to read simple language.

Just the way I like it! Thumbs up all the way.

This book is a bible for true happiness. What a brilliant book written so beautifully to inspire creativity! I am overwhelmed with how easily the authors motivated me to start my creative project. I began as soon as I read the last page of this book and I've never been happier. Long live HAPPINESS REHAB, a sure best seller by all accounts.

This is a very good book. I LIKE the section on hitting low points in our lives and creating through them.

OK, I buy that creativity can break you out of ruts and make life more fufilling. Got it. But I was expecting a book about creative problem-solving--they really should have thought harder about the subtitle because its very misleading.

As for the suggestions, meh. Pretty obvious "exercises" will impress no one who has been through basic workshops, psychotherapy or training from a teacher on selected art form.

I lost interest and quit reading it, and I'm a hobbyist in music, acting, and writing--so its not as if I think creativity is stupid!

Happiness Rehab is filled with priceless exercises and advice that helped me and will help me when I'm in a slump, as a writer or as a person. The authors focus on simple objects, such as an egg or pepper, and sounds of nature to help draw out creativity in the reader. The workbook format worked for me and doing the exercises helped me evolve as a writer and creative person--my imagination filled with great ideas for the future.
