What I enjoyed about this book is its efficient wisdom -- stripped of platitudes or self-admiring literary gymnastics, the authors impart wisdom in a simple, easily accessible way.
With short summary headings, the writings are assembled in a way that one can quickly read and digest truths that seem self-evident, yet at times are fresh insights that strike an inner chord of resonance. Its as if the pupils are sharing nuggets of truth, which are then bookended by rich stories by spiritual Master Sri Chinmoy.

A fast-paced, wise-faced introduction to meditation and the spiritual life by two Western students of the late meditation teacher Sri Chinmoy (Meditation: Man Perfection in God Satisfaction). Pitched at the absolute beginner, this book presumes neither previous knowledge nor haughty airs, and is a practical, down-to-earth starting point for the marathon journey that is self-knowledge. Humbly recommended.
