What A Waste!,
This review is from: Happy About LinkedIn for Recruiting (2nd Edition): The Roadmap for Recruiters using LinkedIn (Paperback)
This book was a complete waste of time. I only paid $22 for it used but it doesn't make the mistake any better. I am insulted and disappointed that a disclaimer wasn't put on this book to let people know it is an ENDORSEMENT for Linked In and NOT an actual useful tool for Recruiters. I love Linked In, hate the book. Real Recruiters will find it a waste. New Recruiters might get suckered into buying this thing at full price. I'll be donating this to the local library book sale.

This review is from: Happy About LinkedIn for Recruiting (2nd Library Edition): The Roadmap for Recruiters using LinkedIn (Perfect Paperback)
I thought this book was a waste of $40 dollars! It is touted as having secrets from 50 recruiters but all it is is a makreting tool encouraging people to purchase premium accounts. It has a bunch of quotes from recruiters who can barely put a sentence together telling of their networking experiences but I would hardly characterize as secrets or tricks or even helpful hints. The linkedin site is easy to use and does not require an instruction manual.
