I can't add much to the wonderful Editorial Review above, and all the other great things said by many other noted individuals.Happy Apple is important to music, by helping keep it vital, amidst the terrible effects of the music business' power to shovel "product" into the ears of the masses. This is highly irresponsible. I love all types of music, as long as it is good. Many people have lost the ability, and attention span, for listening to music. Of course Happy Apple is not for absolutely everyone, but from their packed shows, I am certain that they have opened the ears of people who may not have been exposed otherwise. The positive result is that this expands their joy and appreciation of music, and then they urge their friends to lend a receptive ear. Hopefully, this will eventually raise the level of our culture more to where it could, and should be.
