I've been reading Sandra Boynton to my son since he was born and we just love her work! This is another in the series of Little Pookie, a great character that helps little guys (or girls) figure out how to express feelings. Sandra Boynton can write for a child while still amusing adults. Get this one for your little Pookie for his/her birthday. You won't regret it.

I really enjoy reading the Pookie books to my 15-month old. I have found them all to be cute and fun. They are a good choice for any kid!

We just got this for our daughter's 3rd birthday because she absolutely LOVES all the Sandra Boynton books. This is definitely one of our FAVORITES!! A great book.

Boynton's books are favorites in our house, and I read at least one Little Pookie book a day to my two-year-old. Happy Birthday, Little Pookie is my favorite to read out loud, and probably my son's second favorite (he really digs Let's Dance, Little Pookie). We love the "Pookie" voice throughout (such as "Oh, it's a piggy!" when Pookie's dad makes pig-shaped pancakes). I hope Boynton continues to keep writing Little Pookie books. We'll definitely keep buying them!

I like the idea of buying "birthday" themed board books for the first birthday and this was just what I was looking for!

WOW. I have now bought all of Sandra's "Little Pookie" books. I first bought her book shopping when i saw the word "Pookie." That is my husband and i's pet name for eachother (Please dont judge...It started as a joke and well....It stuck)....Anyways, After reading my five year old the first one. Laughing and him pleading with me to read it again...and again....and well...again..I bought all her "Pookie" books. My son is five and loves everything boy. I mean Transformers, Bakugan, Pokeman, Dinosaurs...and so on. But these simple little books has my son just laughing the entire time! Thank You. I must now find out about her other books to see how wonderful they are!

We have Night Night Little Pookie that I read nightly to my son in silly voices "Oh POOOOOKKKKIIIEEEE!!" and he begs to have it read again and again and laughs with delight. Well, my son is turning two in 2 weeks and we HAD to get this book when I found out it existed.
What a great little book. I can't wait to read it the night before his birthday. It's going to be a part of such a special day : )

We love Pookie! This is a cute book that's perfect for bedtime. It's fun to see Pookie celebrate a birthday. It's funny and kids will appreciate the humor.

Sandra Boynton's books are great for young children. The Pookie series are no exception. If you are ever looking for board books for young children you can't go wrong with ANY of the Sandra Boynton's book. The kids love everyone of them. Amazon is my favorite online merchant.
