In fact, she decides to celebrate her entire birth month and comes up with an elaborate set of plans. Her mom and dad nix most of them but allow her to invite her old pal for a birthday visit. Mallory's enthusiasm is infectious and she can be understanding when things don't go her way, but sometimes she seems whiny and self-absorbed. My 6 year old grandaughter loves the Mallory books...they are cute and
funny without being "over the top" and all seem to have a subtle lesson. She is a new reader and really enjoys the stories and finds them easy to read...Love the series for her and we can enjoy them together!!
