Kim Shattuck comes up with some fabulously goofy lyrics,

"You and your parrot/Walk around like you're demi-gods"...great stuff, but how can we as fans keep The Muffs alive?(I mean besides trying to convert our non-believing friends?). This is a terrifically tuneful pop-punk CD that never made a ripple on the charts. Once you can get passed the gravel in Kim's vocals and just go with the flow, you might find it a marvelous doodle, a slippery pop joyride. I know people who cannot stand The Muffs, but it's priceless music, with happy/sad lyrics and grooves that last a lifetime. And what about that brilliant circus artwork? Queen Bee indeed!

Classic Album!,

If you leave it to the record industry to help you discover music, you might never find this gem. The Muffs is one of the greatest bands in history, so after you buy all their records you should be sending money to their homes. The overall failure of the record industry is quite apparent when listening to The Muffs. This a great album with great production. Kim hits another home run to the parking lot. If you want the true meaning of "evil" just look at which record label puts out these albums.

Is It All OK? Hell yes!!!,

Nothing like a band that can laugh at itself and crank on the power chords. Kim can play and Ronnie lays a nice background.Happy Birthday is a better CD than Blonder, although the debut is still my choice for Muffiation.

Their 3rd and finest achievement yet! Happy melodic punk-pop for the r&b challenged, me thinks this is Kims' best songwriting yet (except maybe that song about a parrot -yawn-)! And the guitar sounds? Glorious!

Drummer saves this band,

If it were'nt for drummer Roy McDonald, this band would be another bad punk/pop band. They are a bad punk/pop band, but the drummer is soooo much fun to watch.

I love the Muffs!,

If you liked the Muffs from their self-titled CD, then you will like this CD. When I play the The Muffs (first CD), I listen to 12 of the 16 tracks. When I play Happy Birthday to Me, I listen to 14 of the 16 -- that is the highest percentage of any CD I own with the exception of Weezer (self titled). Blonder and Blonder is the worse with only 9 of 14 tracks. If you like the preview track then you will not be disappointed.
