From the age of six months my son loved to hold this book and squeak the little toy in the center.

The text is easy and rhythmic and the illustrations fit nicely with the squeak toy in the center. My son loves looking at the cartoons of fish and other undersea creatures almost as much as he loves squeaking the toy. He recognizes the symbol used to indicate time to squeak the toy and sometimes even does it at the right time.

All in all, I'm very impressed with this book as both a toy and a book. It has been loved to death in our house and I'm anxiously looking for a new copy.
