3.0 out of 5 stars Feels good but...
Mine broke the first day. I don't think I was being rough with it. I was just sitting on the couch and had one foot on the massager and was only applying a little pressure. Now I am 6' 2" and 190 lbs, so your mileage may vary. It does feel great, so instead of returning it I'm going to replace the 1/4" wood dowels the rollers are mounted on with steel rods.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plantar Fasciitis Relief !, February 27, 2009
This review is from: The Happy Company 00364 Foot & Body Roller Massaging Fingers - Aqua (Health and Beauty)
I've been suffering with plantar fasciitis for several months now and have tired all sorts of shoe insoles and meds, but nothing has really helped. Every morning I get serious pain in my heal and throughout the day as well. I finally came to the conclusion that the pain in my heal is due to cramping in the surrounding tissues. Basically, it feels like there's a lump the size of a 50 cent piece deep in there and its really painful. Like with most muscle cramping, the best most immediate relief is to massage the affected area, but how do you massage the bottom of your foot ? Its not easy, and not only is it awkward, its hard to get enough pressure with your hands to do any good. On a hunch I decided to purchase the Happy Company foot roller thinking that I may be able to use it to deeply massage that area. I knew I wanted something with hard rubber nubs and from what I read in the reviews this foot roller has some.

From the first time I tried the roller it worked great! I place it under my computer desk and while I'm surfing the net I grind away at my heal. I can honestly say it has helped reduce my PF pain significantly, almost to the point where it feels normal again and that's saying a lot. I've only been using it a week and can tell you that I haven't had any more painful lumps in my heel and there is little discomfort in the morning, whereas I used to have to practically crawl on the floor after getting out of bed. If you suffer from PF like me, then I urge you to give this foot roller a try, its working for me!

My only concerns are that the rods that hold the wheels are wood dowels and I'm concerned that I could break them if I use too much pressure in the middle of the roller so I use the rollers near the end blocks where it's the strongest, also, it squeaks a bit so using it at work could be a bit disturbing to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really INTENSE ... in a good way!!, May 28, 2008

My yoga instructor says that the quickest way to get a full body massage is to rub your feet - because pressure points in the feet represent every part of your body (inside and out). I had heard that this foot & body roller was really intense and I am here to say - YES- it is! This thing is like having a professional massage session - my whole body felt more alive after I used it! I keep it under my desk and when I get tired from sitting in front of the computer all day I just kick off my shoes - WOW - this thing is better than drinking a Red Bull!

4.0 out of 5 stars helped my plantar fascitis, August 9, 2008

I find this a little uncomfortable to use, but it does help relieve the pain I have from my plantar fascitis, so that is worth a little temporary discomfort. Nothing else I have tried except visits to a physical therapist has helped in the slightest, so I consider this a worthwhile purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST non-electric foot reflexology roller ever!, August 8, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Happy Company 00364 Foot & Body Roller Massaging Fingers - Aqua (Health and Beauty)
I became addicted to foot reflexology over a decade ago when I briefly lived in Asia. I like my reflex nodes to be a bit bruised and I manage to destroy all the electric $1-$300 versions eventually. Anyway it is a little-held belief but I think macerating the soles of ones feet as aggressively as possible except by torture is a great way to unlock all sorts of blocked energy channels and therefore preventative healthcare. I bought several styles of foot rollers and pressure point widgets but this is by FAR my favorite.

This is a great little invention .
I have suffered for years with heels that throb terribly
at the end of nearly every day. I have long sought SOMETHING
that would help my throbbing heels....so my husband wouldn't
have to rub my feet several times a week !
THIS HAPPY FOOT MASSAGER WORKS REALLY WELL..and you do
it yourself....plus it doesn't cost a fortune.

Like I said..a great little invention.

4.0 out of 5 stars Removes tension from feet and body, January 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Happy Company 00364 Foot & Body Roller Massaging Fingers - Aqua (Health and Beauty)
I received this massager the other day after many weeks from being on back order. I had looked at others but settled on this one. It is a good sturdy product to help relieve stress and revive tired feet, back, legs, etc. It is smaller than the dimensions listed hence the 4-star rating. I measure it at about 8 3/4 inches wide by 6 inches long and 3 inches high. The actual width of the rollers is 7 1/2 inches. I have about average size feet so I can fit both feet on the rollers comfortably. I haven't heard the squeeking that some have mentioned so it may be the way it is used. The holes on the sides are good and comfortable size for holding when massaging other parts of the body or a partner. Along with regular stretching and other foot exercises, this massager has also helped relieve the pain of plantar fasciitis.

5.0 out of 5 stars absolutely fabulous, July 29, 2008

dreamland !

not only is it that for feet, but it is very easy to hold and roll over your legs
(two handed allows more pressure and control, and the rollers get to the muscles just right)

however, the wood rollers squeak as they roll on their wooden axles
... i'm thinking i'll try some massage oil for lube

3.0 out of 5 stars ouchie, November 1, 2008
This review is from: The Happy Company 00364 Foot & Body Roller Massaging Fingers - Aqua (Health and Beauty)
If you have sensitive feet, this roller may not be for you. This plastic nubs on this roller are not soft and flexible as stated. Like one of the other reviews, it is a little uncomfortable to use. Perhaps "The Happy Company Therapeutic Foot and Body Roller" may work better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully intense!, October 10, 2008
This review is from: The Happy Company 00364 Foot & Body Roller Massaging Fingers - Aqua (Health and Beauty)
When I think of using this I get a little shiver down my spine because it's very intense but very wonderful.

When my feet are very, very tired I find they are most sensitive to the rollers, but as I keep using it, my feet magically feel so much better.

I don't know exactly what it's doing (shiver) but I like it! And my feet like it, too.
