Since there is no size mentioned on the details page, I didn't know what to expect. Just the face of the Boo-boo soother is only 6 inches across(This is not including the hands and feet). The heating pad itself is about 4 1/2 inches across and is extremely hard to put back in the pouch if frozen, because the heating pad must be folded to put back in. (I just don't take mine out, unless it's being washed.) All in All, it sure is cute!

I bought 3 of these for use with a 7 yr old , a 5yr old and a 6 month old. They are great. They are just the right size for them, not to mention that it makes them forget about what really is wrong. I have had them now about 5 months and never had a problem with heating or cooling. Simply follow the directions.

i put it in the microwave for 30 seconds and it blew up. there was gel goo everywhere.

This "boo boo" soother has an adorable, machine washable terry cloth cover, but the small, round, soft plastic insert that you freeze is not effective. The insert isn't large enough to soothe most boo boos and the coolness dissipates long before the boo boo stops hurting. I would look for something larger.

Our kids love it! We've had it for a year. I find the cover to be a little too thick to get all of the cooling through, but it makes the kids happy and seems to help them. I haven't used it for warming as of yet. I did find the cover difficult to put on when frozen so once I got it on, I left the cover on. It lives in our freezer, ready for boo-boos.

We use this almost every night with our 2 month old baby girl. When she's fussy or gassy, this helps her out almost immediately.

Just be careful to only put it in for 15 seconds. Any more than that and it starts to expand and I'm sure it would melt completely. Also, be careful of touching the eyes and nose right away while it's still in the microwave...those can get hot but cool down in a few seconds.

Once frozen, can not put it inside the sleeve.
I tried to put it inside , when it was not frozen, the packing riped open and all the gel came out.

Save your money.........It is not worth a penny
