Like most Gran Combo albums this has a couple of big hits (Timbalero and El Menu), and a bunch of good songs to round it out. There are no songs which I would consider bad on this record.

I would place this with "Aqui no se sienta nadie", "Nuestro Aniversario" and "Universidad de la Salsa" as must have Salsa records.

Go ahead, don't be shy and get it.

"Mas timbal para los rumberos!"

A classic EGC album from 1981 with Charlie Aponte and Jerry Rivas on Vocals featuring timeless tunes such as El Menu and Timbalero. I highly recommend this Puerto Rican Salsa classic from the Institution of Salsa to anyone. El Gran Combo en su apogeo.
