Laura Numeroff is the author of many books for young readers in addition to the If You Give . . . series, including The Chicken Sisters and Laura Numeroff's 10-Step Guide To Living With Your Monster. She loves to play tennis and travel and lives in Los Angeles, California. She’s the author and illustrator of the Poinsettia books, The Day It Rained Hearts, The Halloween Play, and Tumble Bumble. She lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This book is adorable! The illustrations in this book are so cute I find myself grinning while reading to my babies. My Twin 10 month old girls love this book. It is a board book, so it is for a younger crowd than the other "Give" books. I am so pleased with this book and so are my little ones!

This book will be a nice additon to my preschoolers easter basket. He loves the if you give book series but this is not the same. It really goes over colors and numbers but does not have the theme of cuase and reaction that the Christmas "If you take a mouse to the movies" has. Really good for a toddler who is learning colors and counting though.
