Biography

Green Isac is a Norwegian-based duo featuring multi-instrumentalist Morten Lund and imaginative percussionist Andreas Eriksen. Together Eriksen and Lund spin electronic and ethnic instruments alike into kinetic rhythms, sometimes electronically powered, but more often acoustic, with accents from manipulated guitars and quirky synths, setting it all in alien landscapes with an air of mystery and… Read more in Amazon's Green Isac Store

5.0 out of 5 stars A Personal Favorite, November 12, 2004

This review is from: Happy Endings (Audio CD)
Happy Endings is my favorite Green Isac CD thus far. From the opening chords to the last track, this CD is a great listen whether working, driving or just having it playing in the background. The simplistic use of instrumentation, especially in "I raise my head", of accordian, synth and drums works extremely well. The rhythm and vocal dubs add quite a bit throughout the CD and one can see how it progress into Is There Any Doubt In Your Mind that was played a lot off of their next CD, Groundrush. This is a group who's entire library needs to be in your collection.
