Fabulous book!
This is one of those books that is written as much for the adult reading it, as it is for the kid hearing it. I always benefit from reminders that our emotions are all OK, and there are very few (if any) circumstances where they should be hidden. These sorts of lessons occurred to me as I read this book to my kids over the past 10 or so years.

It's worth the price, even though it's not my favorite
There is a lot going on in the pictures. I think it's a bit confusing to my grandson, He's 20 months. He likes the pictures, but I don't think he gets what the story is trying to say (happy, grumpy, etc)because it's just too busy. Still, the pictures are colorful and there is just enough text without being too much and boring. There's lots of stuff to point to while I'm...

Maybe as he gets older he will apreciate what the story is trying to show, but for now, it's just a nice time for him to sit on my lap and look at pictures together.
