Happy Hands and Feet,
By A Customer
This review is from: Happy Hands and Feet: Art Projects for Young Children (Kids' Stuff) (Paperback)
This book is full of creative images made with a childs handprint or footprint. It gives you ideas for every holiday and season. I have enjoyed using the art projects as gifts or for my baby's scrapbook. When you look back on your artwork it's hard to believe that your hands and feet were ever that small.

This book has really cute crafts you make with your little kiddos handprints. They are adorable and make really cute cards for grandparents and other family members. Also make a great craft idea for school parties. We even have several framed in our daughters room.

This had a few cute ideas that I could use with my 5-year-old Sunday school class. But I wouldn't plan on getting too many ideas out of it - they all kind of feel the same after a few.

Great simple ideas, but the most unfortunate part is it is in black and white. It doesn't give any examples of how to use background or foreground to make the handprints stand out. I got another similar book and to see the hand/foot prints in vivid color made all the difference. Plus, it had sweet additional touches like using fingertips for flowers and insects or making caterpillar toe prints. Happy Hands and Feet gave me some ideas to start and other book gave the finishing touches.

I love this book and others similar to it. I have made several hand print creations and they are great to brighten up scrapbook pages. This book has many wonderful ideas that you can use in different avenues.

I'm really surprised that this book is so great! It has plenty of ideas for almost all occasions, and lots for the holidays. At first I was disappointed to see that it was in black & white, but after looking through it some more, I don't think it hinders the material in any way. It's just as creativity-inspiring as it could be if it was bright & colorful on the inside. I do wish that it had more "back to school" ideas, but all the holiday ideas make up for it! I was a little worried that I would, as the teacher, have to create the scenic background to make the prints look like the cover, but each page has a picture of the print with a background, and without a background. I highly recommend this book!

As a teacher, I can tell you parents swoon over anything that has their child's handprint on it. This book does all the thinking for the teacher. It has beautifully creative ideas that kids enjoy and parents love. No elementary school classroom should be without it.Lucy Adams, author of If Mama Don't Laugh, It Ain't Funny

I love this book! As an educator, and now a stay-at-home mom, this book is full of creative ideas for children. Projects are great for keepsakes through the years, too. Great examples are given on each page for the projects, and it shows creativity your child can add to his or her handprint/footprint. I would highly recommend this book to parents and teachers.
