If you like 1970s sex comedies, then this is for you. There were tons of butterfly collars and too much makeup here. The main character Xaviera is clearly an imitation of Joan Collins, even as this is pre-"Dynasty." Many may not like her voice, but I found it vampy and appealing. I'm still imitating it as I type this review. Speaking of imitations, this film must have influenced "Dr. Detroit," "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," and even "The Birdcage." Adam West actually plays an antagonist here. Those who only realize that this is Batman halfway into the movie will be in for a treat. Batman also shows off his Batbooty, but it could be a body double. Just as in his (in)famous television show, he proves himself here to be a poor dancer. Still, he can move his pectoral. He was also willing to perform soiled pants humor and drag. I'm sure the title was invented for its alliterative purposes. However, a "hooker" usually works on the streets and struggles with poverty. The women here would more appropriately be labeled "call girls." Moreover, their "work settings" are over-the-top and unrealistic. One older male character is always flanked by two women. Surprisingly, Mohatma Gandhi did the same thing and I wonder if he was the inspiration for this idea. The film had corny jokes and predictable gabs. Still, if you live B movies, you may want to peep this.
