Tough and Gritty, October 17, 2001

The first time I ever heard of Irish-born Mick Hanly was when Hal Ketchum took his "Past the Point Of Rescue" to the top five on the country charts. It took me a few years to track down a Mick Hanly CD, and I'm glad I did. Among my favorites are "I Feel I Should Be Calling You," "Piano Tuner," "Medicine Man," and "I Could've Missed Her By A Whisker." Heck, all of these songs are fantastic. Order a copy before it becomes extinct!
