"Happy New Year - ted" A Revolutionary Crime Theory Theodore Bundy and the Columbus Stocking Stranglings

Everybody wants to be Kojak or Columbo. There are numerous fundamental problems with the theory that Ted Bundy committed the Columbus Stocking Stranglings. None of Bundy's known victims was older than 25, much less elderly; there is no evidence he was ever in Columbus, Georgia; no direct evidence even implicates, let alone incriminates him; another man was convicted years ago of (and recently DNA matched to) several of them; I could go on and on.

But just look at the dates of the crimes: six of them were committed between September 11 and December 28, 1977, while Bundy was incarcerated in Colorado. (He didn't escape until Christmas Eve, 1977.) The other two happened on February 12, 1978, as gas and hotel records show he was driving across the Florida panhandle, and April 20, 1978, as he sat in jail in Tallahassee awaiting the Chi Omega trial. Had the authors noticed these basic, ineluctable facts, they could have saved themselves a whole lot of time and trouble.

Murder sleuthing should be left to the professionals. And as another reviewer pointed out, coherent writing (complete with proper grammar and spelling) should be left to professionals too.

Wilson and Keiss provide facts, educated speculation and a trunk load of research to create a entertaining read, and more importantly, shine new light on a horrible series of crimes more than three decades old.
Was the Bundy body count underscored? Could he have been connected to an "unrelated" series of Murders in the small southern town of Columbus Georgia?
Happy New Year -Ted may cause you to rethink the crimes and abilities of one of the most intelligent serial killers of our lifetime.

Did Ted Bundy commit murders that were never attributed to him? This book uses strong detail with even stronger evidence to make that exact case. It's obvious from the first paragraph that these guys have done their homework. This book is a must for the serious crime reader. You'll be hard pressed to put this down once you start reading it, so be prepared!

I was bald by the time I got to page 50 -- which is where I finally had to stop reading -- from tearing my hair out over the grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors that are riddled throughout this book. Random words are hyphenated and there's a 50/50 chance that if the word ends with the letter 'S' it'll have an apostrophe, whether it belongs there or not. Some mistakes actually have a strike-through on them. For some reason the word 'cops' is always all caps -- COPS. I know this book was self-published but are the authors really so cheap that they refused to cut loose with a few hundred beanie-weenies for a competent proofreader?

I actually love the writers style of expressing and analysing Ted Bundy's personality.
This book is creative and intersting....
The book is different from others Ted Bundy's books , it is new-fashioned.
