5.0 out of 5 stars Life-Saving Wisdom March 29, 2005
This is a remarkable (and funny) book about how to create and maintain real happiness. It is a gem among self-help books - one that truly delivers helpful tips for instilling and preserving the positive force in life. It truly can change ANY life.

Chapters of witty and revealing personal experiences give way to sections of quotes from the wise and revered sages of our time (and others) - from Bob Marley to Rumi, Martin Luther King, Jr. to Voltaire. The quotes are provocative proof that people have always struggled to remain positive, and full of the light of life. The life story of Mr. Walker is a meaningful and fitting illustration of the principles the book - how it is possible to reclaim even the MOST down-trodden life, at any stage, in order to restore its beauty and purpose, through positive practice and determination.

I recommend this book to everyone - it would be great for teenagers to practice his 7 simple principles, to learn how to build a positive life. It would be great for people at any stage of life who live with everyday struggles. It would also be a life-saving book for anyone you know who is in real trouble - behind the guise of the beautiful flower on the cover is information they can really use to speed recovery, and restore

their true happiness.

This book is a treasure, and I truly think everyone should buy it. I keep mine open to my favorite quote on my desk,

"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage."

-Anais Nin

All of Mr. Walker's other books are highly recommended as well.

I was really looking forward to being happy after reading this book.

After finishing it I was unhappy that I had spent money on it.
