I found this book helpful and informative. I recently adopted a shelter cat and wanted to know more about my cat, how best to take care of her and more importantly to be able to enjoy having her. The author covers lots of different topics, writes in a very straight-forward manner and gives practical suggestions on everything from vet visits to handling vocalizing during the night.
