I still get chills when I hear John's voice. This song is good on so many levels. It makes me smile and cry at the same time. I hope all generations will find John and take him into their hearts so he and his songs will never be forgotten.

"Happy Xmas (War is Over)" is rightly considered a Christmas classic. It perfectly reflects John Lennon's idealism, his hopes for peace. His voice is as sonorous today as when he first sung it. Even more shocking... Yoko Ono sings. Normally. There's also the Harlem Community Choir. "Happy Xmas" is one of those songs that improves with each listening. Lennon was one of the great singer-songwriters of our time;even apart from the Beatles,he was great. Though he was a self-proclaimed atheist,"Happy Xmas" perfectly shows the Christmas spirit.
