From Library Journal
One hundred women, selected by the authors and representing a wide variety of work/life experience, responded to 50 scenarios in which sexual harassment may have occurred. The women responded by indicating whether they would have been offended had they been "Ellen," who represents everywoman in each scenario. Following the scenarios, the authors review recent judicial decisions regarding sexual harassment, discuss male and female differences in perceptions of appropriate behavior, and offer practical suggestions that employers can implement not merely to be in compliance with the law but to insure that women are respected and welcomed in the workplace. Recommended for academic and special libraries.
