Broke on the way to the gym...,

The day I got this, I was walking to the gym. Started to bend the leather to break it in a little, and when I was almost to the middle portion and started bending it around the rivets, all three popped out and completely separated, leaving me with a completely useless belt. Returned it and will either get a different brand or a synthetic one.

Broke with 25lbs on it...,

I would not recommend buying this belt. The grommets are not the advertised steel and are a very light metal... perhaps tin. Before my first set of pull-ups... I placed 25lbs on it and I was walking over to my pull up bar. The grommets all came out and the weight almost broke my foot. For $40 ... this belt is terrible. Even a nylon belt can hold 25lbs...

Cheap construction for good belt price,

I ordered a grizzly dip belt off of amazon and this belt arrived in its place. At a glance it looked like a really nice belt. But once I removed it from the box two of the rivets fell out of the plastic that the belt came wrapped in. The belt never even made it to the gym! Don't waste your time with this belt. I recommend grizzly's dip belt.

Flimsy, waste of money,

I used this maybe four times holding two 25lb. plates, for 50lbs total. The bolts snapped loose and while I wasn't hurt, it was clear this is a cheap piece of crap. Not recommended at all.

Falling apart after a month,

Three of the 10 metal rivets holding this belt together have popped off in the first month of use. I'm hanging between 25lbs and 45lbs from it depending on exercise and there's no excuse for this shoddy construction. I had an APC belt that easily handled 90lbs. Terribly disappointed and Amazon is telling me that I can no longer return it.

I purchased this belt a few weeks back. I was excited to begin using it. Unfortunately within one week of receiving the belt it broke. Two of the rivets connecting the leather pieces popped out while in use. I had two plates between my legs, and thankfully the third rivet did not give way.I think this is a fine belt, and will have it re-riveted. Hopefully this is not something that occurs on a regular basis.

I've had this belt for about a month now and have had no problems with it. I searched Amazon for the right belt before I picked this one, but the reviews for almost every belt said that the chain was too short. This chain is just fine. I have had 2 plates on it so far, but I doubt I'll have any trouble getting 3 on, or even 4 if I need to. But I'm a pretty thin guy (my pants are a 32-34 inch waist). If you are larger, then you might have issues with chain length.

I don't know why everyone is claiming that it's cheaply built, but I've done pullups on these with (2)45lb plates strapped on with no problem. The chains feel sturdy as is any other part of its construction. However, I find it fitting too big on me, although I have a 26" waist, so I have to secure the end loops with a padlock

I had this belt for about 4 months and it has already failed. I had been using it for weighted pull-ups and dips (never more than 45lbs at once). 3 Rivets came out almost at once. Thankfully Amazon CS is great and sent me a new one. Lets see how the new one does.

The 2nd time I used this belt I had about 55 lbs on it and two of the rivets popped out. That is absolutely ridiculous. There is a major design flaw with this belt and Harbinger should just pull the product as it is completely useless...
