I started off with a pair of Velcro cuffs which were cute n worked great until I moved up in weight. I normally wouldn't use such high weights but given it's used to enhance my glutes...and I suffer from Asian booty syndrome :P I am maxing my weight to gain more junk if ya know what I mean. So guys/gals alike, you can buy these with peace of mind in knowing that you wont cause any unnecessary commotion at the gym.

Oh in regards to the fit...ladies I am probably on the bigger size...5'8", 140lbs and these fit a bit loose so if your super tiny you may want to opt for another pair...like I said though the value of having both velcro & D-ring out weigh the fact that they are a tad bit loose...then again when wearing pants...no prob at all. Guys you shouldn't have any issues with the sizing...the velcro strap is pretty long.

Oh and the other annoying thing...you have to buy two...that is unless you dont mind having to stop in the middle of your set to strap it on the other leg...I thought it would be no big deal but here I am purchasing the second one. If you're really rockin out and maxing your weight you aren't going to want to do this though...and def don't bend over, you may get dizzy and tip over...uh just saying.

I got this because it had two metal rings. Velcro will wear out so these rings definitely save the velcro. As others have said, it is a bit big. It wont be tight, thats for sure. Its manageable though. Inside is soft and overall Im pleased with it. Nothing else comes close.
Only thing I would change about it is its size. It could be smaller or they could at least create a smaller version.

This is a very solidly constructed cuff. Heavy duty d-rings ,secure-feeling velcro, decent "fleece" lining, all held together by a hefty 3" band made out of a stiff, thick, synthetic? leather. The problem is the lining does not extend over the rather sharp edges of the outer band, which means, if you are doing anything with enough range of motion for the angle of the cuff to shift significantly on your ankle, the edges will cut into your skin. I use the pulley weights at my gym for dance specific training which involves movement working through several planes. After about 45 min with my new cuff, my ankles were starting to feel really cut up. The skin over my achilles still feels sore this morning. My guess, though, is that for a smaller number of reps of a more traditional leg exercise, you might not have any problem. Next time, I will try wearing these over pants or heavy leggings.

Okay, the title's a little misleading. But this is the ultimate ankle cuff. well padded, and used correctly, you'll compete with the mules to kick someone's butt. EXTREMELY comfortable as well. I had bought one for myself, and this one was for my daughter. She went into exercise Nurvana. Great for hip and glute exercises.

Great quality product. The are a little too big for my female clients. The D-rings are not positioned well, especially when using them around smaller ankles.

I've only tried a few kinds but these are the best, now i agree with other reviewer they are big and i have large ankles also so if you are small in size don't buy these. I still say they are the best i have had, i built a tripod hook and wire system which i attached a hook on both sides using a wire thimble with wire rope and used a thimble in the middle to attach the hook to "so not to rub wire" and they work fine.
Yes this was overkill but they work perfectly.

Are these still being sold? As "LEATHER"? What a joke. These are NOT LEATHER!!! Buyer beware.

Item is as advertised, arrived quickly...and in excellent shape.....will buy from this vendor again if they carry the product I am looking for...

I understand the bad reviews. Yes, it's not leather, but it's still solid and yes, it's a little rough around the edges. it could have more padding, but I love how secure and strong it is. It might be a touch large if you have a small foot, or for any women out there, but if fit's my (5'10, 190 lb male with size 11s) just fine and it can fit bigger easily.

But honestly, I like this one much better than those without the Velcro strap. It's very secure and I find it comfortable.
