Excellent Wraps for Heavy Lifting,
By

This review is from: Harbinger Pro Thumb Loop WristWraps® (Sports)
As a gym rat who has had several bicycling and weightlifting related injuries, I need additional wrist support when lifting heavier weight while benching, incline benching and curling. These wraps are an excellent complement to my Harbinger gloves for such heavy lifts. Compared to other heavy-duty wrist wraps, these are more elastic, longer and slightly thinner. This results in less bulk and tighter constriction of the blood flood to the wrists. So, between lifts, I find that I need to remove the wraps each time. However, the lower bulk makes generally makes the hassle tolerable. Is short, if you like a more flexible wrap for heavy lifting, the Harbinger Pro-Thumb loop wrist wraps are a good choice.

These are great for benching really heavy with barbells and dumbbells. They are easy to tighten and loosen without much effort. I have only used them for a week, and if I had to guess, I think they will last me a year, not bad for this type of equipment.
-- Over a year later and these wraps are still in great shape! They save my wrists from getting sore during heavy workouts. I think they also give me a psychological benifit.

Harbinger Wrist Straps,
By
This review is from: Harbinger Pro Thumb Loop WristWraps® (Sports)
Straps work well, except for the fact that they are both the exact same strap. (Not a left and right wrist) So the one on my right wrist goes on upside down? Still work well, but its a little in-efficient for the right wrist.

Good product with an incomplete product description,

At the outset - order only 1 as the box comes with two wrist wraps. When I ordered it I was unclear on how many came in a box and so I ordered 2. Knowing how good amazon is about returns I wasn't worried but I thought I should point this out for someone looking to order this.
The product itself works well and as advertised. I like the width of the wrap as it supports my wrists well and the velcro is well positioned to secure the wraps hassle free around my wrist. I find it REALLY helps my wrists and would highly recommend them especially if you feel a slight twinge as you are lifting. You can cut off circulation so use with caution and when done lifting loosen the wraps. ***************************************************** Also, it turns out for the 2 wrist straps included in each box there is a right and left handed one. Not a big deal and probably a good idea to mix it up so you don't stretch them out but the act of wrapping it around my wrists is a bit cleaner when you used correctly.

I have tried a couple different brands of wrist wraps and these are the best I have used by far. They have lasted me a year and Im about to buy another set, so I think I totally got my money worth. The velcro is not holding as tight a year later after using them 4 to 5 days a week at the gym, but that is to be expected and honestly I thought they would have not lasted as long, so I am pleased with these. They support my wrists for just about every type of lift I do. I have broken both of my wrists in my youth and I need the extra support when bench pressing, curling, and even doing squats...the weight on my shoulders is still held in place with my hands and wrists bearing the load. So these are great quality and the material is comfortable on the skin and they last a long time. You really cant ask for better than that!

Easy & Do What They're Supposed To,

These are great straps for providing extra support and protection to the wrists and forearms. They're easy to put on/off and super quick to adjust the tightness. I used them while learning to clean and snatch my kettlebells and they did a good job of minimizing the requisite bruising of wrists and forearms. Now I use them for a little extra support while working with my kettlebells as well as my regular weights and these straps continue to do a great job!

After unsuccessfully trying several expensive wrist and hand braces that had to be purchased individually for twice as much as a pair of these wrist wraps, I decided to try these. I like them very well. They are more flexible and easier to adjust than anything else I have purchased. I think they are more durable, too. I loop the thumb loop in over my thumb and wrap once around my hand and once around the wrist and secure with the Velcro. The wraps give good, consistent support to my wrists and the backs of my hands without hindering my fingers. They were a little stiff at first and smelled strongly of some kind of packing chemical or dye, but I just hand washed them with dish soap, rinsed them thoroughly and air dried them. Now they are perfectly comfortable.

I've always had some degree of trouble with wrist strength on heavy lifts. My trainer recommended these for heavy chest and shoulder moves where there might be pressure on the wrist. These are simple to put on once you get the knack--just make sure to unhook the thumb loops once the straps are wrapped around--and stay secure.

These will get the job done, but I had to do some sewing to secure the corner on one of the velcro panels. You get what you pay for, and EFS products would have been my choice if they weren't on back order.

Decent wraps for the price. Does what it needs to do. Wish it was a bit stiffer to act more as a brace. For the price cant go wrong but still would like a heavier material for the wraps.
