4.0 out of 5 stars Solid lifting gloves
These are solid lifting gloves. Anti-microbial works well; no smell. I've washed them twice over the past 4 months, as they do eventually start to smell (naturally). I lift hard and heavy and they've withstood the torture. There's not a lot of padding, which is what I wanted (it offers better and more accurate grips).

I'd buy another pair for sure.

I like Harbinger but this particular glove has a bad design. I never thought gloves could increase discomfort. It seems to me that it would be really hard to do because you have a piece of cloth that protects your hand but somehow Harbinger figured out a way to make it feel worse. 1.0 out of 5 stars painful, December 19, 2010

I like Harbinger but this particular glove has a bad design. I never thought gloves could increase discomfort. It seems to me that it would be really hard to do because you have a piece of cloth that protects your hand but somehow Harbinger figured out a way to make it feel worse. The stitching on the inside of the glove near the thumb and the index finger has so much extra loose fabric that sometimes when I do my heaviest lifting, normally on an incline bench, it pinches the skin between my thumb and finger which is extremely painful. It totally caught me off guard the first time and I almost dropped the weights. Even the cheap disposable gloves I bought at walmart were more comfortable. I should mention I also own the Harbinger 143 Men's Pro FlexClosure Wash & Dry Gloves which are cheaper and much more comfortable. It might be that the 143's have extra padding. Maybe these thin gloves are great for people who don't lift allot or other types of workouts that don't involve an incline bench or maybe mine has bad stitching? I'm not an expert but I do know they hurt my hand when I use them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good weight lifting gloves,, July 4, 2009

These gloves have a good grip, and the mesh on the back of the hand permites perpiration to evaporate easily. They contain an antibacterial agent that allows for them not to smell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as advertised, works and fits great, June 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought these specific gloves for two reasons. 1) I was getting calluses and blisters on my palms under my fingers from lifting weights and dumbbells. 2) I don't like the other types of lifting gloves that actually hamper my grip or don't allow for wrist flexibility. This glove works at preventing calluses and such, and also is super flexible. I had gloves before that weren't this "FlexFit", and I hated it because when I wore it I actually had less grip on dumbbells. These gloves are more awesome than Barney Stinson.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good weightlifting gloves, April 18, 2010

I bought these gloves for my son and now I want a pair. The anti-microbial coating is nice. They flex well which make gripping the bars much more comfortable.

1.0 out of 5 stars Severely disappointed... Received the wrong glove, January 18, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am a HEAVY Amazon user, and when I found these gloves on here to buy, I was very excited. The price was even better than the store, and I go through weight-lifting gloves probably once every 2-3 months. I had the exact gloves in the picture, so I knew which gloves to expect.

2 days later.. I receive the package and I receive the WRONG gloves. The gloves I received was a bulkier, cheaper version of the ones advertised. What a disappointment....

My first Gym Gloves and they are great. I order XL by looking at the chart and they fit perfectly.
True to the word, They don't stink.
Great build quality and Grip.

I checked a lot of reviews for this and other similar gloves and decided to go with these. I'm glad I did.

Review on this site also helped my decision:

4.0 out of 5 stars good value for money gloves, May 4, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Good value gloves that are strong and durable. The only reason i give them 4/5 is because the fingers are cut off a little too short so you still get some sore pads on the joint of your fingers.

4.0 out of 5 stars simple & works, March 7, 2010
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Harbinger Flexfit Training Gloves (Sports)
simple glove that's airy & works as described. Had a slight pinching at the inner thumb-crease after a while, but this might be "hand-specific"
