I have had the heavy resistance band (red) for over three years now and love it. I am in the Marine Corps and I travel a lot. I have other bands and this is the only one I use. My Marines started using it and they love it as well. With the one band I work chest, shoulders, back, biceps, triceps, and legs. I have read other reviews that state this band is too short and not versatile. I completely disagree; I like the short length because it offers more consistent resistance than single bands and it allows me to do exercises I could not do with longer bands. A little imagination is required but this band is a complete gym. I do recommend wearing gloves if you use it a lot as it can cause blisters. I am ordering a new band today as my old one finally snapped. I think three years of use in austere environments like Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Korea and Afghanistan is pretty good.

This is a low quality product compared to many other brands. Yes it is better than a simple band, but for the cost select a cable with better handles. I would not recommend this product.

Used my Medium Resistance band for less than a month only to have my band break on me. Harbinger is putting out a low quality product that I do NOT recommend. I was doing standard bicep curls and chest presses. I'm sure Harbinger will replace under warranty, but be warned, this could happen to you too.

I was disappointed at the small size and stiffness of this band. Also, the way they pack it with a plastic black tie leaves creases on the tubing making it more likely to break at a high stress. I guess it can be used for some applications so, I gave it 2 stars.

I'll admit that this is the first resistance band I've ever purchased, and maybe I chose this model prematurely. Did you realize that this product is only 18" long? While the size may be good for something (travel?) it detracts from its versatility. The exercises you can do with a band this size are rather limited. The handles are soft and flexible, but this is not too practical with increased resistance. I'm off to find a longer resistance band that has sturdy hard plastic handles.
