Though i havent tested them the tko bars seem better because they seem to have more balance. DOn't be fooled and lured in by the price because these handles aren't worth it. I've completely stopped using them and they are laying around as a useless piece of junk.
Product has functional design
Comfortable to use
I feel no wrist strain while using these.
I'm able to get more of a workout since I can dip down further, unlike normal pushups.
Easy to grip, and the underneath side has 3 rubber stoppers to help reduce slidding.
Cons: A little wobbly if I go too wide. Minor angle/position adjustments fixes this for me.
At first I thought they had a crack or two, but its just the way the paint looks. Even on the Cover of the Box it comes in, you can see it has the same markings. This does not subtract from the quality of the product in any way.
Update: Six years later and I'm still using these. They have lasted a long time and there is no sign of wear and tear. Perhaps because I take good care of my items. I originally purchased these to reduce wrist strain from normal pushups. Without push up grips I wouldn't feel comfortable doing push ups.
Update 11/14/13: Still have the original set. These have been around the world with me and I still happily use them. Strongly recommend.
-If you have wrist issues while doing push ups; these solve that problem
-Do not slip or slide
I haven't had any huge problems with these bars after just over a month, no rolls, slips, or cracks.
-If held incorrectly the handles will pinch and make my hand go numb, but it's a matter of finding the "sweet spot"
-*While they have held up perfectly fine; I am still not completely confident in the bars, there is almost like a grain to the gray plastic where you hold the bars and it seems as though its a huge crack waiting to happen.
The pads are rather wide and make it a little awkward to hold, but the alleviation from wrist pain greatly outweighs any of the problems with this product. A little experience with them and you get used to holding them and avoiding any pinching or numbing. I don't know how I ever did push ups without these things.
it does let you go down further and transferred the stress from the wrist to the palm. the bar does provide stability against the floor and have fairly comfortable grip when doing push-ups. i have no problem with it so far...
When I recently left the Army, I needed to keep up with my regimen, so, I had a coupon for a gym trial. After an hour of enduring a sales pitch, the gym really didn't offer anything that I couldn't do myself.
While in the military the 3 fundamental exercises were sit-ups, pushups, & running. I've been doing these three core exercises since basic training.
I don't like doing sit-ups because I have a bad back, so, right when I roll out of bed, I knock them out while I'm still fogy in the head and can't really feel the pain. Then, luckily, there is a bike/jogging trail across the street from my home. So, I run or bike a few miles.
Problem was, when it cam to pushups, I didn't feel like I was getting as much as I was putting in. I tried these pushup bars (just as a joke and they were cheap). Instantly, I was amazed. I felt twice the effect than simple hand on ground pushups.
I was especially impressed when I found that I could adapt the bars for standard pushups to diamonds, wides, etc...
Additionally, not only can I use these on lamented flooring, but also tile and carpeting...without messing up my flooring. They grab a hold of whatever surface you apply them to.
I hope my rating/memo helps you.
All the Best!

Great little pushup bars. I would give 5 stars but I am a bigger guy and there is just enough flex in the handle to make me feel like I will eventually break them. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Christopher Sova
