Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this based on other reviews. The quality of the gloves was excellent, but the fit was awful (not a reason for the lower stars as it may be just me). The following is a tad hard to explain in words, but this is what made the gloves not useful for me: The harder leather portion on the palm of the glove was abnormally stiff (inflexible), so when you lifted a weight such as a free weights it was difficult to get a proper grip-which is not good when you are lifting heavy weights. Because of its inflexibility, it would also push the leather palm portion up towards the base of your fingers, also reducing the ability to get a proper grip on top of cutting into your skin. I actually ordered two pairs of the gloves-one for my gym bag at work and one for home, and both had this issue.

This review is from: Harbinger 1210 Big Grip Non WristWrap Glove (Charcoal/Steel Blue) (Sports)
I've had a pair for a little over a year and they are the best gloves I've ever used. I've destroyed every pair of gloves i've owned (Harbinger training grip's, Nike's, and Atlas) and these have really held up. They are starting to come apart right now, but they have been used 4 times a week so it is expected. It took about a month to really break these gloves in, but once they get broken in, all of the thumb pains will go away, and the rubber will start to loosen up. They are really worth the extra $.
