The Ultimate Light Box Diffuser is a mini soft box for your flash. Designed as a modular system with the features of a larger studio soft box, the Ultimate Light Box is the first "on camera" diffuser to allow for multiple layers of diffusion to control the softness of the light. The Light Box may be used with the small HalfDome diffuser inside and with the supplied Lee Diffusion Filters installed in the front Lens to produce soft, studio quality light from your flash. The Ultimate Light Box comes with an internal Reflector to direct more light forward onto your subject when using the Light Box as a large bounce type diffuser. Made from durable, light weight, translucent plastic, the Ultimate Light Box is designed for years of service and comes with a custom flash Adapter that mounts securely to your flash. All Light Box products can be used on different flashes by changing the small flash adapter (additional flash adapters are optional). I like this diffuser, it works for what it's supposed to do but.......I simply can't justify the price. I got exactly the same results using this as when I used a Chinese take out container. (Had to peel the labels off). The Light box was bulky, a little awkward on my flash and looked more than a little goofy (as did the take out container) but it worked for what it was supposed to do. Mind you, the first thing professional photographers advise is to get the flash off the camera. An umbrella and a cheap tripod would be cheaper than this. Three stars. Four if they took 20 dollars off.
