This is a wonderful sophomore album release from one of the best country music rising singer-songwriters Lee Brice titled 'Hard 2 Love' : it's a follow-up to his critically acclaimed debut 'Love Like Crazy'. He has managed to successfully navigate from song-writing chart-topping songs to other country music stars to superstardom himself. This new CD (13 tracks) certainly solidifies his musical career as a serious singer-songwriter (he co-wrote eight of thirteen tracks) : great melodical guitars, incredible lyrics & vocals. Lee Brice sings about love found/lost and more in this album. Stand-outs/gems/solid tracks include "A Woman Like You", "That's When You Know It's Over", "I Drive Your Truck", "Life Off My Years", "Seven Days A Thousand Times" & "That Way Again". Great tracks include "Hard To Love" (great opening title track), "Parking Lot Party", "Don't Believe Everything You Think", "See About A Girl", "Friends We Won't Forget", "Beer" (fun track with great harmonica) & "On More Day". There is no weak track or CD filler in this CD release.

On overall, Lee Brice has certainly solidified his musical career in this wonderful sophomore release. A well deserved 5 star performance & a highly recommended CD listening!

I'd definitely recommend his first album before this one, but Hard 2 Love is still pretty great (as long as you can get past the STUPID album name and cover). I've been a big Lee Brice fan for a while, but I'm a little worried that he's veering towards the female demographic, due to his success with the slower, prettier songs. Also, there are too many little "audio blurbs" in between the songs on his album. (It reminded me way too much of his friend Jerrod Niemann's album.)

Thank God he's still got some fun, fast, loud songs on the album. Let's hope he can continue his country rock success!

I've heard the song "A Woman Like You" on country radio and loved it. Instead of just downloading that song I decided to take a chance on the CD. I'm glad I did. There's a good collection of songs on it well worth the price.
