More About the Author

Eddie is a North Carolina-based writer, writing coach, and book consultant. He is Acquisition Editor of Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas and has written over a hundred articles that have appeared in 20 different publications. His is a three-time winner of the Delaware Writers Conference. His novel, The Curse of Captain LaFoote, won the 2011 Selah Award in Young Adult fiction.

Eddie has authored seven non-fiction books, two novels and taught writing classes from Pennsylvania and the Carolinas to Colorado and Illinois. Eddie works with both fiction and non-fiction writing clients in the areas of plotting, scene development, character creation, dialogue, writing powerful paragraphs, humor writing, devotional writing, mysteries, ministry writing and how to launch your own radio show. He has an English degree from NC State (Go PACK!), with an emphasis in journalism.


He co-writes the He Said, She Said devotions, available at www.christiandevotions.us. His romantic suspense, Bahama Breeze from Harbour Light Books, released in October of 2011. This book will never be considered a coffee table publication but it's the perfect book for the head or bathroom. The stories are just the right length and entertaining as.... well, you know. I loved it and continue to keep it stored under the lavatory sink.
