I orignally bought this for making hard candy. So far I have only used it once for making carmels. The size of the final product was ok, I can see how it would be better for hard candy. My main issue with this item is that my candy pooled at the bottom of the mold. You can even see it in the product photo. It takes some time to prep the mold, as you need to add release agent, and assemble it on an easy to clean surface. I am glad I put mine inside a brownie pan lined with foil coated with cooking spray. I may use this mold in the future for hard candy. But if you are serious about making candy, invest in a Silicone Chocoflex Mold, it is well worth the money.

Bought for use with hard candy and the idea was great but the design is a bit off. The mixture ran underneath the form and connected to next pieces and oozed through the connection slits from not having a tight fit which made it harder to seperate afterwards.
