I own and am at this very moment utilizing the HARD CANDY Skin iPad case in CLEAR. To summarize:
One of the best, cool company and design, feels substantial and quality, unique snap-on screen-cover that snaps onto the back for storage, and overall my favorite, and I've looked at way too many to still be considered as having a life.
NOT THE HOLY GRAIL THAT SO MANY SEEK---- DOES NOT FIT ON APPLE DOCK/CHARGER(very few cases do, including apple's very own case-design. ummmm....annoying?). Also, I still wouldn't drop your ipad on the cement, you feel me? I did that with Apple's very own iPad case, and it left a little dent on the side that gives me shivers everytime I look at it. Yeah, the Apple case did save my iPad's life, for which I'm forever thankful(it has this like 1/4" extension around the outside border of the case, which honestly is nice for obsorbing some of the shock) but that doesn't mean its better protecting than the one I currently own, and I'm not willing to purposefully test this out, but most likely will accidentally drop it on the cement again in which case I'll let you all know. The reason this case is better than Apple's own case? Apple's case always looks disgustingly dirty, literally to the point where its almost embarassing, and I'm not even overly conscientious(sp?) about appearances, I'll wear a t-shirt with holes in it and sweatpants, with crocks and yet somehow the Apple iPad case makes both you and your beloved iPad look like a bum. Even when it was just me alone with my iPad, the dirty Apple Case made me feel discontent and sad. And that is just so not cool. Your iPad is something to cherish and righteously uphold, like Jesus.
For a more in-depth review, read below, I think it covers everything, no pun intended, HAHAHAHahahahahahaha, not funny, sorry :(.
Its like this folks: its a clear 2-piece case with a rubbery-feeling grippy silicone material that is aesthetically lovable. Your iPad fits into the one piece like a mold, covering the back, sides, and and over the border of your ipad screen quite a bit more than most(thats a good thing). The other piece is unique. Its not a screen protector that try to adhere without any annoying bubbles(hate those things), its quite substantial and thick, and removable. It fastens itself over the screen, connecting to the base-piece with holes that snap(snap once you've practiced affixating it, at first you'll just stubble with it and worry you're doing something wrong, but trust me, it will come to you) onto these little knobs(look like miniature silicone nipples really) and then you have a complete silicone-encased(or whatever) iPad that feels sturdy, and makes you feel good. I like the screen-cover flappy thing, it sounds wierd, but it actually looks really cool, almost futuristic, better than any case I've seen of this variety. Also, you can snap it onto the back when you remove it to use the your touch-screen interface(oh yeah, you can't use the iPad with the screen-cover on, its thick, almost silicone-cutting board like thick, it lives up to its name--hardcandy). The front cover reminds me of a graphing calculator, where you slide the cover off the front and then slide it onto the back, keeping everything together nicely.
