This case fits snugly and doesn't roll over the edges of the iPad when you are handling it. It is thick, with hidden air chambers that provide real shock protection. It just feels good to hold, soft and very grippy. It reminds me of the case for a Wii controller. I think this would provide real drop protection, but I will leave that test for those with more money than sense to try out. It is wide, covering the bezel, including the home button, but not interfering with its use in the slightest.
All ports are open and easily accessible, and line up perfectly. In short, it feels great, looks techie, and protects the ipad very well.

My son has dropped my ipad many times!! And it has survived, so I can only say great things about this product. It is very well made and has air chambers inside that give a lot of protection and when my son drops it it even bounces of the floor and nothing happens!! Lovet it!

The grip that this cover provides around the edges of the iPad is nice, as is the feeling that it added a lot of protection. But if you are looking at the pictures of it being crystal clear and shiny looking, you'll be very disappointed!! It is opaque, not clear. Looks like a watery milk color, or a kind of see-through white. And not at all shiny. The first photo is what it looks like, but the second two are obviously not this product.

I think that the cover IS a little loose on the iPad but certainly not as bad as some of the reviews would suggest. The only annoying part of it not being skin tight is that it will collect dust, lint, etc off the screen under the edge of the cover around the screen. Certainly super easy to get on and off.

It does seem to add some weight but it's not as bad as other reviews had me worried it would be.

I'd recommend the product as long as you are looking for a matte rather than slick/super smooth finish and if you are OK with the color. You CAN see the Apple logo through the cover on the back, though like through a fog.
