Now that I have one of these little cases for my Garmin 1350, I am convinced it was a good idea to invest in a some protection. I ordered it at the same time as the Nuvi 1350 and didn't appreciate what a good idea it was to have a case until I got the items together.

The sides of the EVA case are firm enough to provide protection, yet flexible enough to be comfortable in pocket.

The zipper unzips from 3 sides and a little bit on the 4th side, so the case opens easily. There's about 1/2" wide elastic on each short end to keep the case from accidentally flipping all the way open, and instead, opens a something akin to a clam shell- wide enough to get the GPS in and out while creating a "pocket" that won't let the GPS fall out the sides.

There is enough room for the Garmin short mini-USB cord, and the clip that mounts the unit onto the vehicle base, so you can keep all the pieces together if need be.

The real utility of the EVA case is protecting your touch screen from the hazards of stuff piling on top of the unit in the glove compartment or a storage bin. It'll probably be a big boon should coffee or pop take a spill, too.

Though it's not waterproof, it'll give you that graceful few seconds to grab the case and dry it off before damage can be done.

The zipper seems to be made of a non-marring plastic material.

There's a little loop-lanyard included for hands-free carrying. All in all a very good value, a lot of protection for little money.

This case is okay, but from day one, the zipper would separate below the zipper. The zipper threads would just pull apart with no provocation. I really don't know how to describe it in precise terms, so that is about the best I can do. I could unzip and then re-zip it with no problem, but the same thing would happen again. That is pretty frustrating, but the case was so inexpensive, we just decided to keep it. If you're just looking for something to put your GPS in before it goes into your purse or briefcase, then this will do just fine. The case is reasonably padded and stiff, but if you plan on jostling it about a lot or actually NEED the case to reliably stay zipped, then I would recommend that you either avoid this case or put an oversized rubber-band/ gum-band in the case to help it stay closed.

Thanks for reading me,
-C. Lambeth

I bought this because I travel a lot and didn't want to bang my garin around. The case is to big for the Garmin 1300. It seems like the screen will get scratched by moving around inside the case. I am looking for a different case

This case is perfect for the Nuvi 1350. I also keep the USB cable in the little pocket that is inside and it will hold an SD card case.

My dad always said you get what you pay for and since I got this for $.01 I paid too much. At first glance it seemed like a nice case until I opened it. Inside, there are two strips of 1/2 inch elastic on each side. The elastic on the one side was fine but on the other side the elastic looked like it had been chewed. There was about a 1/4 inch chunk missing. What may have happened is that it got caught in the zipper and sold anyway. After posting a negative review to the company that makes them, they contacted me and offered a new one and said I didn't need to return the old one. I said okay and upon receiving the new one it was in the same condition. After notifying them they agreed to refund my $.01 plus shipping costs. Don't waste your money on this one - buy a good one at the store so you can check it for quality.

The case is sturdy, but a bit big for the Garmen Nuvi 1390T, which is same size as 1370T. I bought the case so I could carry the GPS with me, and space is at a premium, so I have ended up putting this case in the drawer and buying a different one.

I just received this case on 4/14/11. But the case was not as the picture shown or how it was described. The case I received was a hard-shell canvas and the inside had sleeves/compartments. I wanted the smooth leather/vinly type and the inside to be as pictured. I just contacted the seller and they stated that this is a newer style case and the one pictures is no longer available. I am seeking a refund.

Case works great for protecting screen, but can't hold any accessories (cord, mount, etc.)

My case was lost in shipping, but the vendor sent another after three weeks.

The case is nice. Finishing is not so good. Have a thin white scratch outside the black covert. Other than than quality of the case is very good.

The cut ends of the elastic bands stitched to the inside of the covers get caught in the zipper. This is nothing more than an inconvenience, but it reflects on the quality of the product and should be eliminated.
