This song is a jam catered towards the urban crowd with cocky lyrics and a great rap by Young Jeezy. Possibly Rihanna's most urban-radio friendly single ever.

This is a really great tune. One of my all time favs. Boppy, fun, dark, and danceable.

Michael Kerner is always hard on songs that aren't soulful or meaningful. He misses the point completely sometimes.

I'm not going to say this song is perfect myself, but it's catchy and a car thumper at that.

Much different than songs from Music of the Sun or Good Girl Gone Bad but I guess she's growing and wanted to show off a different side of her.

No, it's not really poppy. In fact, it's closer to hip-hop than anything but I guess it'd be classified under R&B.

Although it's different than songs like 'Unfaithful', 'If It's Lovin' That You Want' or even 'SOS', this song is solid.

Young Jeezy has a guest spot in it.

When it has came down to what Rihanna has gone through this past year, with the whole domestic violence bout between her & Chris Brown, she has shown to rise above it emotionally. However, it hasn't really shown that she is stronger in her music. That wasn't shown well before with the depressing Russian Roulette. As for her second single from Rated R, Hard, Rihanna honestly doesn't seem to showcase her delivery better either. The song tries showing a tougher edge, but it is sadly weighed down on her appeal with the song. Her chemistry is lackluster, and she doesn't seem to shine abover her ashes she had dragged down. It just doesn't capture the toughness she showed with her fans, the way her other songs like Umbrella showed before. Hopefully, her next single can be better than this was. That shouldn't be so hard.
