Oldie but a goodie,

This video is not a recent publication, and it is evident as first glance, but it is still very entertaining for children and even some adults. My son loves the entire Hard Hat Harry series. The songs on the video are still great! We catch ourselves singing along. Very inexpensive and definitely worth every penny!

We got this for my son about a year ago and he still loves it. He loves most of the Hard Hat Harry series, but this is his favorite. We also got it for a friend's 3 year birthday with the same results. Sure, it is pretty cheesy as far as production values, but it is both educational and enjoyable for the kids.

The DVD is quite old, the filming / editing is not great but my 2 year old son loves it purely for all the helicopters

I bought this for my nearly 2 yr old son who loves trains big and small. He loves the Thomas the Tank Engine series and loves to see the train in the Baby Einstein "On the Go" DVD, but this was a total let down. He wasn't interested at all and no wonder. It is too much standing around and talking. I tried to keep the whole tape on fast forward but even then it was dull---particularly this endlessly long segment where Harry is seated in the dining car with two school aged children-- and that's it! How is that interesting? To a child who doesn't understand conversations, the banter is not entertainment. To a parent who does understand the conversations, it is pure mindless torture. I've never given anything such a poor review. I won't even bother describing more of the same with the helicopter segment. This DVD is in need of major editing if it is to appeal to little tikes.

Bought this one to replace a copy from the library. Seriously, no matter how train-crazy your kid is, do yourself a favor and don't watch this.

Alot of technical information, so your child must be able to stay alert and pay attention -- if they like that sort of thing. My son liked it for a while but lost interest. It does have a bit of fun mixed in with the facts.

Son LOVES It!,
This review is from: Hard Hat Harry: Trains and Helicopters (DVD)
My nearly 3yo son has all of these Hard Hat Harry DVDs and loves them all. I can't believe the things he learns from them. The best money I've spent. He would watch them repeatedly all day long if we let him.
