5.0 out of 5 stars This band is under-credited, January 24, 2008

This CD is great, the band has so much potential I only hope that their music can be spread to enough people, because they deserve to be widely known. F***ing fantastic!!

t's Hard to Move You should have an addendum to its title: (...But We're Gonna Anyway). Why? Cuz this is a catchy and likeable collection of tunes that I can only imagine large teenage crowds dancing to. Nothing else comes to mind. The album WILL move people physically and emotionally. And why wouldn't it? They've got a great formula going. There's a shade of U2 in their songwriting, a hint of Chris Carrabba in the vocals, and a dose of The Smashing Pumpkins' more lush song arrangements. But don't mistake A Thorn For Every Heart as just a pop radio hit machine. There's something about them that's a bit difficult to pin down... that keeps them on "just this side of the mainstream." It's a delicate balance that the band carry off pretty well. It's aggressive enough to keep me interested, yet poppy enough to tap your feet along to without being over the top. I like it: go buy it!
