Surfing the Hard Rock, June 18, 2000

This is a great cross-section of the surfing songs that grew out of the Beach Boys/Jan & Dean phenomomen and the sound that began to spread to everything....and possibly spawned a TV show (Hawaii 5-0)....to finally get out the long version of Surfer Joe (original flip side of Wipe Out) is truly amazing. all of the songs on this well-selected CD will bring back all the memories of those by-gone years of clean-cut American music ....
